Special 6th District Election

Eight candidates have filed qualifying documents to run in the Sixth Congressional District special election to replace former Rep. Newt Gingrich. The eight will compete in a non-partisan special election scheduled for Tuesday, February 23, 1999.

• Alan Leigh Baier, age 58, a businessman/attorney from Atlanta
