Active Georgia Homeschoolers is a homeschool support group designed to bring homeschooling families in the south metro Atlanta, GA area together for social activities and educational field trips. AGH is purely nonsectarian. AGH does not tolerate discrimination against people based on ethnicity, race, gender, sexual identity, faith or family type. Henry, Clayton and Fayette counties are where most activities will take place however there will be occasional trips into Atlanta and other areas as well. Currently, the average age of the oldest children in the group is 5-6 years of age. However, those with younger and/or older children are welcomed to join but may want or need to schedule their own age-related activities in some instances. This group is meant for families who will be actively attending field trips, park days and other special events that are planned as they are able. All members are encouraged to suggest, plan and organize activities but are not required to do so.
