Zandt Sheikholeslam is finally graduating from our HS (Hopewell Academy) and has been accepted to all colleges applied to, without a GED, etc. He has been nominated for Who's Who Among American High School Students, was a national winner of the Freedom Support Act Scholarship through Youth For Understanding and traveled to the Ukraine as an exchange student for 4 1/2 months, learning to speak Russian and touring 14 European countries, USSR, etc., plus lots more. We are still hoping to hear from some more scholarships.
Zandt is a country boy who homeschools, cooks at the local Waffle House, goes to church, and needs a social secretary to keep up with all of his activities. He finally made it! All of his older siblings were worried that Mom had gone off her rocker and was ruining Zandt's life forever. But now they have decided that homeschooling the grandchildren is the way to go, so here we go again. Azuree, age 5, is alreading reading on a 2nd grade level and not nearly so obstinate as Zandt.
We are proud of Zandt!
