Retroactive Hope for Homeschoolers

11-19-97 The AJC reported an AP story which reports that the GA Student Finance Commission decided that homeschoolers will be reimbursed for their freshman year at college if they maintain a "B" average. Homeschoolers will continue to be eligible for the remaining 3 years as is currently the case. HOPE pays tuition, fees and a book allowance for public college and $3,000 per year for private colleges. The report stated that 11 homeschoolers entered public colleges and 92 entered private colleges or universities this year.
